Sesame Maple Chicken Wings

Maple Sesame Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • 1/3 Cup
    Pure maple syrup
  • 2 Tablespoons
    Sesame oil
  • 2 Teaspoons
    Ground ginger or a few slices of chopped fresh ginger
  • 1/4 Cup
    Gluten free soy sauce or tamari sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon
    Chili oil
  • 3 Pieces
    Gloves of garlic
  • 1.5 Pounds
    Chicken wings cut up or winglets
  • 2 Tablespoons
    Sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Combine first 6 ingredients in a food processor and puree.

    Place wings in a large bowl. Pour puree over wings to coat all the wings.
    Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours ( the longer the better) to marinate

    Preheat oven to 375. Remove chicken from the marinate, reserve the marinate. Arrange chicken in a pan and bake for 25 minutes. Turn wings over and bake 15 more minutes.

    Brush wings with half the reserved marinade and bake of about 7 minutes

    Turn over again. Sprinkle with the sesame seeds and bake until wings and sesame seeds are brown. About 7 more minutes.

    Serve alone or with rice and sweet and sour coleslaw for a complete meal.
